Between Our Worlds is an urban fantasy, dark romance series.

I always knew I wanted to be a writer and have had a wild imagination since I was little. What changed when I flew to Bali was that I finally gave myself permission to create a world in which I couldn’t stop thinking about and wished I could somehow bring to life. It was created in a cafe in Bali, and started as a “what kind of world do I wish I could live in” diary entry. One page turned into a hundred, and soon it became so much more.

Lost To The Dark began with two main characters, and as usual, I let my mind run free. A few chapters later, I decided that to be true to myself, there was a side character who deserved to be brought into the relationship, and therefore it became a why choose romance.

As a dark romance reader, I am enamoured by how healing it can be to read about a character who is as flawed as we sometimes think we are. Dark romance offers a safe place to connect with characters and storylines we resonate with.

I’ve never felt like I truly belonged anywhere in this world, and that messaging is at the heart of this series.

Lost To The Dark, book one in the Between Our Worlds series, is about the internal struggle my FMC Sky faces and the obstacles life throws her way while she tries to remain true to herself. There are layers to her strength and vulnerabilities. The people she meets along the way see that and love her all the more for it.

I hope you enjoy this series as much as I loved writing it. Please check your trigger warnings before going into these books. The books in the Between Our Worlds series have dark themes with morally grey characters. Please note, some are darker than others.

I really wanted to add my own struggles, insecurities, and trauma into these books and have the main characters reflect some of those. I hope I’ve given them a voice that is heard and that you will connect with them, too.
